
This wine stands out for its unmistakable, penetrating spicy aroma (the German adjective “Gewürz” means “spice”).
Straw yellow in colour with golden tints, it has a markedly spicy aroma reminiscent of banana, mango, grapefruit and crystallised fruit. It is very intense, spicy and slightly bitter in the mouth, but warm and pervasive.
Food pairings: herb cheeses, pumpkin or artichoke risotto, fish dishes, raw or char-grilled shellfish.
